Anne R Lucas MA LMHC

Prior to earning her MA in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University, Anne Lucas spent fifteen years in corporate management, serving a series of companies as accounts manager, risk manager, purchasing director and chief financial officer. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) registered with the State of Washington, a professional member of American Counseling Association, an associate member of American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and a member of King County Collaborative Law. She has earned certifications in: grief counseling, job management skills, and small business management. She serves as adjunct faculty for Leadership Institute of Seattle and is a guest lecturer at Antioch University.

 

For four years she was a family therapist at Fairfax Psychiatric Hospital in Kirkland, Washington, providing support and guidance to families in severe crisis. Since 1998 she has worked at The Evergreen Clinic providing individual, couple, and family therapy.

 

Her adult clinical specialties include: mood and anxiety disorders, grief, life transitions, life coaching and organizational skills, premarital counseling, conflict management and skill building, relationship based family skills – remarriage and stepfamily adjustment, managing mental illness in marriage, and divorce counseling. She understands the business aspects of relationships and believes that tremendous learning and growth occur when professional disciplines interact with one another.

 

In addition to therapy work, Anne is a Divorce Coach and Family Specialist in Collaborative Law and a non-attorney mediator.
